Book 2 of the Hex Hall series takes you from the sweltering humidity of Georgia to the serene landscape of England. Sophie gets some bonding time with her estranged father, is introduced to a new form of teleportation, meets other demons, finds herself face-to-face with Archer again and discovers just how deep the insanity of The Council reaches. A tale of hope, young love, tragedy, and awakening, this book gives you all and asks nothing from you in return but to fasten your seatbelt and enjoy all the twists, turns, jolts and sudden stops it takes you through.I thoroughly enjoyed this book. With a lot of series, you find the second book is not as good as the first, but this is one of the gems that seems even better. I look forward to reading the next book in the series, Spell Bound.
